Young matinee idol Richard Gutierrez and mega-daughter KC Concepcion will be doing a movie together, the first for Richard under Star Cinema, and the very first for KC. The movie, said to be a light romance, will start shooting this June, and will be directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal. Talks are there are five locations being considered, and among it is Greece which Direk Joyce prefers.

The team up was made possible after Richard Gutierrez signed a one-picture deal with Star Cinema. GMA Films is said to have made a deal to produce another film with KC come February next year. The Richard-KC movie is being expected to have its theater runs on August.

Dyesebel star and GMA 7’s latest sensation Marian Rivera does not deny that she has a non-showbiz boyfriend but has to keep mum about it.  Understandably,  GMA management does not want her to publicize her personal love affair, but rather promote her team-up with Dingdong Dantes.  So she avoids talking about the guy even when reporters push her against the wall to admit it. After more than 3 years of operating Khan Online in the Philippines, the online gaming company Level Up! has finally shut it down for good.

The license for the game expired last April 30, 2008 and Level Up! didn’t renew the contract. This was primarily due to low gamer usage and new developments in the content of the game.

Oprah will feature international child diva Charice Pempengco on May 12, on the World’s Smartest Kids. The Little Big Star will be singing “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

The young singing sensation has also appeared in numerous talent shows like the Star King Show of Super Junior (a popular boyband in South Korea),  Ellen Degeneres, and the The Paul O’ Grady Show in London. ABS-CBN is also reporting that the last two, and Oprah, want Charice back in their show.

There are talks that she might do a project with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, neither did Charice confirm nor deny, but instead, just answered ‘no comment’.

Last night, yet another twist has happened in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus. For the first time in PBB tv, viewers are represented — via Pinoy Big Brother Housemate ng Bayan SHY. Shy’s first task is this: to have a crush on a fellow housemate. Viewers were encouraged to vote who among the housemates SHY should have a crush with and with 53% votes, as opposed to Robi’s 15%, Josef Elizalde won.

Showbiz personality LOTLOT de Leon, adopted daughter of Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, recently got what she had been asking for quite a long time — ANNULMENT of her marriage with Ramon Christopher, Pilita Corrales’ son by actor Eddie Gutierrez. In a radio interview, Lotlot, mother of four and active in some TV soaps, clarified that what she got was nullity of marriage and not annulment, having falsified her and Monching’s age when they got married. She was just 17 at the time. She also divulged that she and Monching were already leading their separate lives though living under one roof prior to their formal admission of having parted ways a couple of years ago. Several months back, Lotlot was rumored to have a politician-lover from Southern Tagalog.

Nancy Jane formerly known as Nancy Castiglione is the MYX celebrity VJ for the month of May. You can also see her in Hanggang kailan over at GMA 7 from Monday till Friday during primetime. She recently launched her 12-track debut album Nancy Jane under Warner Music at the Embassy bar at The Fort.

Two of her songs namely “Love songs” and “Deep Inside you” were also part of the dance library of Audition Online Philippines, a casual MMOG by E-games.
