Luis Manzano is set to be launched today as Flash Bomba in the latest installment of Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo. It is directed by Dondon Santos, and is scheduled on Saturdays, after Cinema FPJ.

Flash Bomba replaces Shaina Magdaya’s Dragonna.

GMANews.tv published an article saying that Judy Anne Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are set to get married this May 4, and that Ryan’s older brother will be the bestman, and Sharon Cuneta, the matron of honor. Paul Cabral will design the bride’s gown and that of the entourage.

Ryan proposed to Juday last May 11, 2008.

The results of the Marine Engineer Officers Licensure Exam have now been released. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) also announced that of the 2,356 who took the exam, 1,349 passed.

Angel Locsin has been discharged from St. Lukes Hospital, but is still resting to completely recover from dengue. Luis Manzano, Angel’s rumored boyfriend, recounts his ordeal when he began to notice that the pretty actress wasnt feeling well. Luis said he arranged everything, and Angel only needed to have herself confined. Though Angel’s platelet count dropped, Luis was thankful that the doctors were able to do something about it.

Contrary to rumors, RnB princess Kyla is not pregnant courtesy of boyfriend, basketball player Rich Alvarez. In fact, the singer said that if indeed it’s true, then it is a miracle. Rumors about Kyla being pregnant started with a blind item about a petite singer who got pregnant courtesy of a cager boyfriend. People assumed it was Kyla.

Actress Angel Locsin has dengue, and has been confined in the St. Luke’s Medical Center since Thursday, last week (January 22). She was supposed to guest in The Buzz and Entertainment Live, but was all canceled because she was not feeling well.

This is the second time Angel had dengue. She also aquired the infection in 2005.

Judy Anne Santos clears reports that she and boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo are already married (secret marriage). The young superstar said there is no truth to the report and that she thinks it would be a sin to deny if they are. Also, the actress revealed that right not, their concern is to build a house, and a strong foundation for their future.

Boy & Kris, ABS-CBN’s multi-awarded celebrity talkshow, stays contrary to rumors that the show would go kapoof after apparently having been beaten in the ratings game by SIS (GMA network). The show’s hosts, Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino, said there’s no truth to the gossip, and that they are even the lead in the nationwide ratings game.

GMA kapuso network’s upcoming “telebabad”, Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang, is being said to be the last project for the Marian Rivera – Dingdong Dantes team-up (atleast onscreen).

But the actor said that things are not yet final til a project’s done. He recalled how he got included in the Dyesebel project when he thought he wouldnt be. As of presstime, however, Marian has three films lined up under Regal, none of which the actress has to partner with Dingdong.

The family of Rustom Padilla has welcomed the decision of the actor to be “Bebe Gandanghari”. However,  Rommel Padilla (Rustom’s brother) does not approve of the supposed “death of Rustom”. He said that Rustom could just opt to change his name to Binibining Gandanghari Padilla — reiterating that the “Padilla” should stay because Bebe is still their sibling.

For Richard Gutierrez’ birthday, megadaughter KC Concepcion gave him a turtle. The turtle “gift” came complete with its own aquarium. As for the reason why a turtle was given instead of any other gifts, KC relates to Ruffa (reports say) that when they went to Palawan, Richard “went gaga over a pawikan”.

The two are doing a movie together, When I Met You, under GMA Films.
