The film features a consummate performer working with and guiding singers, dancers, band members, choreographers, special effects creators and countless other creative members of the team as they assemble the historic concert event. Included in the movie was the never before seen videos of MJ preparing for his upcoming concert event that unfortunately ended up with his sudden death last June 25, 2009. Award-winning talk show host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will be the 4th judge of the upcoming Season 9 of the American Idol replacing Paula Abdul who resigned from the reality singing competition in the U.S. The confirmation was made by the Fox television executives and the producers as the American Idol Season 9 opens this coming January 2010. According to the deal, Marvel shareholders would receive a total of 30 dollars per share in cash plus approximately 0.745 Disney shares for each Marvel share they own. Meanwhile, Ike Perlmutter, Marvel chief executive sad that Disney is the perfect home for Marvel’s fantastic library of characters given its proven ability to expand content creation and licensing businesses.

Los Angeles chief medical examiner revealed that the King of Pop Michael Jackson died from a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol where he suffered cardiac arrest last June 25. Investigation by state and federal agencies had focused on Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal doctor who was at his side a few minutes before he died and accused him of homicide and man slaughter. According to Los Angeles Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner Dr. Sathyavagiswaran, he reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson’s cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol. The document was released by the Harris County District Clerk in Houston where they raided Murray’s office on July 22. reports said that in early hours of June 25, Murray also gave Jackson doses of Valium, Ativan, and Versed.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg has already made her decision to sentenced RNB Singer Chris Brown after beating her ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Chris Brown was sentenced to five years’ probation, six months’ community labor and to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years. He will serve his sentence in his home state, Virginia and his community labor will be overseen by the police chief in Richmond. Meanwhile, the judge wanted to ensure that Chris Brown will perform physical labor instead of community service, such as mentoring young people as he will also undergo a year of domestic violence counseling. On the other hand, Rihanna did not attend the hearing.

Ms. Venezuela Stefania Fernandez bested 83 other candidates at Miss Universe 2009 Pageant held at the Bahamas. It was the second time that Venezuela has two consecutive winners in the prestigious pageant since Dayana Mendoza won in 2008. After the controversial salary increase issue, Paula Abdul will no longer reprise her job as one of the judges. According to some sources they have, there was a publicized salary increase of Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell for the upcoming 9th season of American Idol. Paula and her manager were demanding an increase in her salary but the Idol producers felt she was not worth what she was asking. Paula made this confirmation through her twitter account. Meanwhile, the other judge, Kara DioGuardi, confirms her return on American Idol judging panel next season.

The much awaited 4th sequel of the death- defying horror suspense movie is about to come your way this August. The film marks the latest in the highly popular “Final Destination” series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride. Their album is about to be released on October 6 while the lead single “Straight Through My Heart” are now being heard on the air. The group is now composed of only four members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean. Original member Kevin Richardson left the group on June 23, 2006 to start a family. Hitmakers Max Martin, T-Pain, RedOne, Soulshock & Karlin, Jim Jonsin and Claude Kelly helped them to write the songs for their album.

Asian Heartrob Rain takes the Hollywood scene through his first lead role in a movie entitled, Ninja Assassin. It is a story of Raizo, a kidnapped child who is raised to be a professional killer but ends up seeking revenge against the Ozumu Clan after the merciless killing of his friend by the clan he worked with. Rain is aiming to become the next big action star from the east after Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat and Jet Li takes the Hollywood by storm. Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes and her series, Eva Fonda was nominated to the prestigious Seoul International Drama Awards. The two nominations for Eva Fonda are the only program and actress from the Philippines recognized by the Korean award-giving body this year. It will also be competing with other series in different European and Asian countries. Eva Fonda was nominated for the Special Prize Category while Cristine will compete for the Best Actress nomination.

The two will have a close encounter and will team up to safeguard an ancient dagger that could release the Sands of Time, allowing its possessor to reverse time and rule the world. Today is the scheduled solar eclipse experience in selected parts of the world. It brought darkness to some parts in Asia. It is the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century. After forming over the sea west of India, the “umbra” made a landfall in Gujarat state in India shortly before 6:30 am and quickly swallowed the city of Surat. Other Asian countries also got the chance to see the lunar shadow. In the Philippines, selected parts of Luzon experienced the said phenomenon. This eclipse will happen again in 2132.
