Justice Secretary de Lima said the Department of Justice will close the inquiries on the allegations of corruption in AFP rather they will proceed to logical conclusions.

The Department will determine the persons they could jail or file a case. This will happen only after former military budget officer Lt. Col. George Rabusa file a more comprehensive complaint affidavit.

De Lima believed that Rabusa has many other information and facts to identify which are not mentioned in the inquiries but could be detailed further on the complaint.

After so, DOJ could form a special committee that will serve as a clearing house for all the cases that may be filed against personalities involved in military corruption.

Among the persons identified by Rabusa is Angelo Reyes who committed suicide.

Other accused, according to Rabusa, were former military chiefs Roy Cimatu and Diomedio Villanueva who also received “send-off” money that came from military funds.

De Lima finds Rabusa as credible because he is part of the system and said to be not an ordinary witness but a whistleblower.
