Adobe and The National Football League announced a partnership on Thursday that will bring Sunday Night Football to fans streamed live over the Internet. The games, which utilize Adobe’s Flash technology, will be called Sunday Night Football Extra. You can watch the stream by going to NFL.com. It is only available to U.S. Internet surfers.

Ilocos Sur Ex-Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson had been appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the Deputy National Security Adviser. Singson, who used to also be the Chief of Vigan Police, will be “concentrating on our Muslim brothers in Mindanao”.

Former Agriculture Secretary Jocelyn “Jocjoc” Bolante might return to the Philippines now that hisasylum request had been denied by the United States Court of Appeals. Bolante flew to the US when the Senate issued a warrant of arrest against him to make him “talk” regarding the so-called “fertilizer scam”.

Bolante, however, will be returning to the Philippines a “freeman” as the warrant of arrest had already expired (it is only valid for six months) and becuase no formal criminal charges were filed against him.

Philvolcs announced that there were 11 volcanic earthquakes recorded on August 29, 2008 surrounding Taal Volcano in Batangas.
