Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Edition marked its Final Big night earlier and declared Melai Cantiveros as the PBB Double Up Big Winner. Her supporters came out strong by casting their votes and made an impressive total votes of 32.08%.

Fox Broadcasting Company and Simon Cowell himself confirmed that it is his last season as American Idol Judge. According to Cowell he wanted to do something different and wanted a new challenge. He also announced that he will be a judge on “The X Factor”, a talent search he created and which is popular in Britain and will be also launched in the US. THE X FACTOR show was launched in the U.K. back 2004, will serve as both executive producer and judge on the U.S. version.

Meanwhile American Idol Season 9 will premier on January 12, 2010 (8 p.m. EST) on Fox.

The Pinoy Big Brother or PBB double up edition continue its Live Eviction Night last night. Pinoy Big Brother followers voted and choosen the housemate they want to get out from the house of  Big Brother and at the same time save the housemate they want to stay. It ended that  Carol Batay got  negative 18.42% and got evicted.

Richard Gutierrez and Heart Evangelista are the main casts in the upcoming adaptation of a Korean series, Full House to be shown in GMA 7 and directed by Mark Reyes. Richard and Heart last soap was Asero.

The Magical Reveal happened last October 4, 2009 as Pinoy Big Brother Double Up premiered its show. The hosts of PBB Double Up were Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, and Bianca Gonzales.

The 14 housemates were chosen from 57,824 applicants and were introduced that night.

PBB Double UP Edition is expected to have different challenges to be accomplished by the 14 housemates. It was also revealed that there will be two houses where housemates with a twin will go separately to the different houses and they should not talk about it with other housemates.
