In preparation for the upcoming 2010 polls, COMELEC has removed a total number of 6 million voters in their list. Those who were out of the list are those deceased voters, with double registration, those who lost their Filipino Citizenship, and voters who did not participate in two consecutive elections both in the National and Barangay polls. This move was made to avoid any inconsistencies for the upcoming elections. For those who will be visiting your poll precints, kindly check if you still belongs to the voter’s list or spoil your one vote instead in 2010.
