It diminishes the reputation of the judicial systems of the Philippines and the US. When an obvious injustice is done, look for corruption or ideology. The 'principle' that resulted in these rulings is that those who are profiting from underpaid immigrant labor in the US should continue to do so, and, incidentally, drive down wages in the US. What do I know? Five of these nurses took care of my stepson at Avalon Gardens. This does not diminish the reputation of Filipino Nurses.
