Chavit Singson is Deputy National Security Adviser

Ilocos Sur Ex-Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson had been appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the Deputy National Security Adviser. Singson, who used to also be the Chief of Vigan Police, will be “concentrating on our Muslim brothers in Mindanao”.
Norberto Gonzales is currently the National Security Adviser.
