Former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos celebrated her 80th Birthday yesterday at the Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City. Inspite of her claims that she doesn’t have anything right now, her friends showed their love and support by giving her a birthday party. Imelda was wearing a pink national dress, jade earrings and sporting a large diamond ring. She also extended a hand of reconciliation to her previous loyal supporters who “disengaged” from her in 2002 by inviting them to her birthday. Imelda’s only wish is that she could be given more health and a longer life so she can devote herself in helping the Filipino poor.
