Malabon Mayor Tito Oreta, together with the Malabon City government placed a temporary solution for their collapsed dike that was broken due to the tropical storm “Feria”. They erected a sandbag wall to temporarily close up the collapsed dike in the village of Catmon and control the inflow of water to the submerged areas.DPWH Secretary Hermogenes Ebdane visited the area today to inspect the dike’s dmages according to Bong Padua, Malabon Public Information chief. Meanwhile, Malabon Mayor Tito Oreta gave relief goods to the affected victims who temporarily resides at the Catmon Elementary School after their house was affected by large volume of floods that leave their house under water.
