Maritime Industry Authority ( MARINA ) gave a suspension order to Ilagan Shipping Lines after the tragedy occured in Puerto Galera where M/V Commando sank leaving 12 casualties. Marina would also inspect seven other remaining motorized bancas of Ilagan Shipping because of the incident. Investigation is still ongoing to know who will be responsible for the said tragedy . It was also reported that 55 passengers including the crews were on board M/V Commando as the manifest indicates, but on their way to Galera, a total of 60 passengers were onboard, resulting to overloaded passengers. Meanwhile, M/V Commando’s captain Melito Anilao was still missing together with the other crews of the ferry.
