Pupil Band led by former Eraserheads member Ely Buendia celebrates their 4th year anniversary as a band. In connection with that, they also released their latest album entitled, Wildlife: Special Edition. It also includes massive hits like Sala, Monobloc, Disconnection Notice and Teacher’s Pet. Pupil was formed in 2005 with Ely Buendia on vocals / guitars, Yan Yuzon on guitars and Dok Sergio on bass. Veteran drummer Wendell Garcia joined them last 2007. The band came up with 300 choices on what name they will be using for the band and it was Ely who discovered the name Pupil when he read a medical book that time. From that year, they were discovered because of their album Beautiful Machines that include singles Nasaan Ka?, Dianetic and Dulo ng Dila. Their Wildlife album was chosen as the 2008 Album of the Year at the NU Rock Awards where they also received Artist of the Year, Producer of the Year, Drummer of the year and Best in Music Video.
