Jay-R won’t desert GMA 7

Regarded as the country’s Rhythm and Blues prince, Jay-R refutes insinuations that he will move to Channel 2 just because his contract has not yet been renewed by GMA 7. His statement was verified by his manager, Arnold Vegafria, who vows Jay-R will stay with Channel 7 and is hopeful that the contract will be renewed soon. Jay-R is still in the US with his girlfriend visiting his family in California. It will be remembered that it was GMA 7 that gave Jay-R a break in showbiz after he was first discovered in America.

I beg to differ. Gma did not make jay r who he is. As I recall it was his music design for love and bakit pa ba that made his mark in the Philippines. His album went platinum without the support of gma. I remember because I was at all of his mall shows. And I dont remember one commercial from gma for jay r.
