Young superstar Judy Anne Santos renews her contract with kapamilya giant network, ABS-CBN. Juday’s contract made news the past weeks after she insisted on having her lawyers look at it first. She even had a misunderstanding with manager Alfie Lorenzo because of the incident. The contract signing happened last Thursday.

John Prats will be featured in the next Mars Ravelo Komiks Presents. The young actor is Tiny Tony, the world’s smallest superhero. Also in Tiny Tony are Jopet Concordia , Aiko Melendez, Alex Gonzaga, Gee-Ann Abrahan, Bodie Cruz, Coco Martin, Mura, Susan Africa, and Gerard Acao. It is directed by Dondon Santos, and will start airing October 11 at ABS-CBN.

Grandslam actress Lorna Tolentino will be moving to kapamilya network ABS-CBN where she is set to do a soap opera with come-backing actor, now singer, Gabby Concepcion.

Lorna Tolentino recently was accompanied by her manager, Lolit Solis, when the actress said her goodbyes and appreciation to the kapuso network top executives.

Luis Manzano denies allegations that he forbids Angel Locsin to have kissing scenes with her leading men. He goes on to say that it is already a part of Angel’s job as an actress before they even got close, so he has no plans on interfering with the actress.

The two has gotten close since Angel Locsin made the move from GMA7 to ABSCBN.

Aiza Seguerra is the new Singing Bee champ — this, after Rachel Alejandro opted to leave her champion slot, making her undefeated, for her shows in Dubai. Incidentally, Aiza Seguerra’s latest album, “Open Arms” will be released by ABS-CBN’s music outfit Star Records.

The album features revivals such as “Open Arms,” “Time After Time,” “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” “At last,” “Vincent,” “Smooth Operator,” “Home,” “Journey,” and “Longer.”

GMA kapuso Starstruck graduate, and now ABS-CBN kapamilya star Cristine Reyes will be launched as a sexy tv actress in “Eva Fonda, 16″. 

Eva Fonda, 16 was first released in 1976 as a movie written by Pablo S. Gomez. The movie became a blockbuster and launched the career of Alma Moreno. It also paved the way for the bomba (sexy) films in the Philippines.

GMA kapuso artist Dingdong Dantes and ABS-CBN kapamilya home-grown talent Angelica Panganiban are working together as the new image models for the shoe brand, Mario d’ Boro. Incidentally, starting July 14, their teleseryes would be “rivals” as ABS-CBN releases Iisa Pa Lamang to match GMA7’s Dyesebel. 

ABS-CBN kapamilya prime actor John Lloyd Cruz and the country’s pop princess Sarah Geronimo is the newest love team, under Star Cinema’s new movie, All About Love. The two first teamed up in a hit special episode in Maala-ala Mo kaya.

John Lloyd also will be celebrating his 25th birthday tomorrow, June 24.
