Anne will be playing the goddess of water, land, and sky. The beautiful actress also gets to play her dream role of a mermaid, aside from her other goddess transformations as a centaur (half-horse, half-human) and a half-human-half-bird creature.

Drumbeaters of Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera are oiling up their battle gears!  It looks like the two actresses (both from “warring” networks ABS and GMA) are now pitted against each other. Angel Locsin’s camp is being blamed by Marian’s supporter as the culprit in circulating ghastly items, including Marian’s so-called You Tube fiasco. Only recently, another issue propped up.  This time, Angel was replaced by Marian as product endorser of Jag Jeans.  Fans of both camps are howling and perhaps, another Nora vs. Vilma-like competition is in the offing. Thanks to showbiz reporters who are adding fuel to the fire.

It seems that Optical Media Board Chairman and TV host Edu Manzano is all thumbs up when it comes to Angel Locsin who has been rumored to be the latest girlfriend of his son, Luis. Edu does not hold back and smilingly says, “I like her (Angel). She is very, very nice, very behaved. And I can see her good influence on my son.” He adds that he loves his son so much that he will never go against the happiness of Luis.

Twenty three Year old Angel Locsin is the cover for Maxim Magazine for May 2008. Maxim Philippines’ readers should not expect too much from Locsin’s photos inside the mag as she did not show more skins as many people expected. But she’s still an angel for her fans.

Dyesebel is number one on the Mega Manila ratings game - this according to the recent survey conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households from May 2 to 4, 2008. For May 2, Dyesebel got 37.5% and the Dyesebel: Ang Simula (GMA-7) aired last Sunday got 25.2%.

ABS-CBN’s PBB Teen Edition Plus is said to be also on top of the Nationwide Ratings Game, thanks to the “nagpapakatotoo” teens Josef, Nicole, Rona, Beauty, E-Jay, Valerie, Alex, Robi, Nan, and Priscilla. Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual’s Lobo, in the meanwhile, is said to be the second biggest money-maker of ABS-CBN, next to PBB, in terms of advertising revenues. Advertisers are said to have placed their ads to sustain the series until July.
