Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2008n Jennifer Barrientos will be competing against 79 other women from different countries vying for the Miss Universe 2008 Crown. The 57th Miss Universe Beauty Pageant will be held at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam this coming July 14, 2008.

Jennifer is a 22-year old, 5′8 beauty, and UST Tourism graduate from San Mateo, Rizal.

Sambayanan Filipino witnessed the Final Eviction Night of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus last night. Alex Anselmuccio got the lowest votes from the PBB fans that lead him to bid farewall to the other PBB  teen housemates. While Robi, Nicole, Beauty and Ejay were voted as the PBB Big Four.

The Deaf Dreamer, Priscilla Navidad of Davao, is the latest evictee in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus.  She was beaten by over 80% of  the votes, after getting a measly 11% of the total text votes. The two other nominees, Beauty and Nicole, got around 40% each.

Beauty’s mom also left the house tonight.

PBB Teen Housemates Priscilla, Beauty, and Nicole are automatically nominated this week after committing two violations — mouthing of words, and asking information from the “outside world”.

Andy, daughter of actress Jacklyn Jose also enters the house as the newest Housemate ng Bayan.

Dyesebel is number one on the Mega Manila ratings game - this according to the recent survey conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households from May 2 to 4, 2008. For May 2, Dyesebel got 37.5% and the Dyesebel: Ang Simula (GMA-7) aired last Sunday got 25.2%.

ABS-CBN’s PBB Teen Edition Plus is said to be also on top of the Nationwide Ratings Game, thanks to the “nagpapakatotoo” teens Josef, Nicole, Rona, Beauty, E-Jay, Valerie, Alex, Robi, Nan, and Priscilla. Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual’s Lobo, in the meanwhile, is said to be the second biggest money-maker of ABS-CBN, next to PBB, in terms of advertising revenues. Advertisers are said to have placed their ads to sustain the series until July.
