The Pacquiao-Diaz fight even broke the record set during the July 2006 Pacquiao-Larios match which rated 54.4 percent.

People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao is all set to fight David Diaz this coming June 28 (June 29, Philippine time) at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, who will be fighting his first lightweight division, claims he is much stronger now that he need not go on a diet while training. The boxing champ also says he has more energy now since he could eat a bit more.
Expect a blockbuster fight between People’s champ Manny Pacquiao and WBC Lightweight Champ David Diaz at the Las Vegas, Nevada on June 28.
The boxers already faced each other at the prefight conference in Los Angelese, California. Pacquiao is eyeing the WBC Lightweight belt of David to add to the present three boxing titles under the pambansang kamao’s name.
People’s champ Manny Pacquiao has already began training in his hometown General Santos City. Pacquiao also confirms that this is in preparation for his fight with WBC Light Weight Champion David Diaz, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 28, 2008.
Pacquiao is scheduled to leave for America on May 10 where he will continue his training at the Wild Card Gym.
