Antoinette Taus is back in Manila. The pretty actress-singer, on the rumor-mill now for being Dingdong Dantes’ ex-girlfriend, has been visible in kapuso shows like Nuts Entertainment and Showbiz Central. Antoinette will be guesting in Dear Friend, for their “Victor and Mimay” episode.

Kapamilya Nikki Gil and kapuso Dingdong Dantes will be working together as hosts of the 3rd Moonrise Film Festival which features documentaries with environmental protection and preservation concepts.

The Festival will be on August 29, 2008 at the Robinsons Galleria Movieworld Cinema 3.

Dingdong Dantes will be among the world’s 25 sexiest men. Reports say that the Marimar and Dyesebel actor is being considered by E! Entertainment, an international celebrity tv authority, as one of the sexiest men of the world. E! Entertainment is said to be working closely with the actor’s manager, for the list, which wil be released 3rd or 4th quarter of the year.

GMA kapuso artist Dingdong Dantes and ABS-CBN kapamilya home-grown talent Angelica Panganiban are working together as the new image models for the shoe brand, Mario d’ Boro. Incidentally, starting July 14, their teleseryes would be “rivals” as ABS-CBN releases Iisa Pa Lamang to match GMA7’s Dyesebel. 

GMA kapuso hot property Dingdong Dantes has added another brand in his list of endorsements — this time, alcoholic drink Gran Matador Brandy. Dingdong was launched as the first celebrity male endorser of the brand last night at the Plaza Ibarra in Timog Ave., Quezon City.

The actor has become an in-demand endorser after having played Sergio in the Pinoy-version of Marimar. Dingdong now appears as the male lead in Dyesebel, opposite Marianne Rivera.

For over two years now, versatile actor Dingdong Dantes has served as a member of the Reserve Force of the Philippine Marines with the rank of Master Sergeant. Recently, he went with the Third Technical Service Battalion for a socio-civic service (medical mission-community service) in Jolo, Sulu.  He confesses that he would have been a military officer had he not been lured to show business. His grandfather is formerly a brigadier general in the Philippine Constabulary.

GMA7 Kapuso’s hit loveteam Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are looking forward to doing a movie together, now with talks of their new film, with another GMA talent Ms. Iza Calzado.

The Pinoy version of the hit telenovela Marimar paved way for the Marian-Dingdong tandem, with Marian becoming an overnight sensation, and Dingdong, a certified hunk. The two are now busy with the fantaserye Dyesebel, which also airs primetime on the kapuso network.
