Rock Band Kamikazee will be singing the themesong for Darna, the upcoming primetime series in GMA. The group is composed of Jay Contreras as their lead vocalist and Jomal Linao,Led TuyayJason, Astete and Allan Burdeos. Their song “Narda” has became a hit in 2007 from their album “Maharot” as it became one of the favorites in different radio stations. They had a new album this year entitled, “Long Time Noisy” under Universal Records.

Luis Manzano denies allegations that he forbids Angel Locsin to have kissing scenes with her leading men. He goes on to say that it is already a part of Angel’s job as an actress before they even got close, so he has no plans on interfering with the actress.

The two has gotten close since Angel Locsin made the move from GMA7 to ABSCBN.

Reports say Alex will be back to her homestudio via a special role on the network’s latest comedy offering, the Bea Alonso-starrer I Love Betty La Fea. Alex is said to be leaving kapuso network GMA 7 because of a drift with (ex) fellow kapuso artist Rhian Ramos.

Ka Blog, a new show from GMA 7 Kapuso Network. It will air Next saturday August 9 at 10AM. The new show will target the general teens, anything about teen fashions, gadgets, teen relationship and sports.

The show is hosted by Andrea Torres, Mico Aytona, Lucky Mark Mercado and Monica Verallo. These are some of the young talents/reporters of the said network.

New kapuso star Heart Evangelista reportedly had forgotten her lines and had to shoot a scene twice. Heart was said to have gotten so nervous with her first kissing scene for the latest kapuso show, Codename Asero, with GMA 7′s main man, Richard Gutierrez.

GMA kapuso star Katrina Halili is happy even if she ranked second only to another kapuso star Marian Rivera. The two time sexiest filipina, based on FHM’s polls, is even thankful that there are people out there who supports her, who would even go as far as vote her for the title. The sexy star also says she is very happy for Marian’s victory.

GMA kapuso artist Dingdong Dantes and ABS-CBN kapamilya home-grown talent Angelica Panganiban are working together as the new image models for the shoe brand, Mario d’ Boro. Incidentally, starting July 14, their teleseryes would be “rivals” as ABS-CBN releases Iisa Pa Lamang to match GMA7′s Dyesebel. 

Songbird Regine Velasquez will be appearing on GMA telebabad as Kim Samsoon in the newest kapuso telebabad show, Ako si Kim Samsoon. Regine will star opposite Mark Anthony Fernandez and Wendell Ramos. Also in the cast are Tessie Tomas and Nadine Samonte.

Ako si Kim Samsoon will hit the pinoy tv screens on June 30 at GMA7.

GMAnews reports that Original Survivor host Jeff Probst advises Survivor Philippines Host Paolo Bediones to “just be himself, and to let his natural curiousity come out”. Jeff also advises the “lucky” would be pinoy contestants to do their best and “keep their mouths shut” so they would not get into any trouble.

Over 30,000 pinoys auditioned to be the “cast aways” in the Philippine version of the hit reality show, Survivor. This will be aired on the kapuso channel GMA7.

Actors Dennis Trillo and Cristine Reyes are still dating — this amidst the change of network of former GMA kapuso artist Cristine. She is now an ABS-CBN kapamilya, busy taping for the network’s sexyserye, Eva Fonda.

Cristine, however, reveals in PEP that the two only dates occasionally, as they are both busy with their careers, adding that Dennis has three shows in GMA, who is also training for Gagambino. 

The GMA7 kapuso drama series, Kaputol Ng Isang Awit, will end this Friday, June 13. The serye’s star, Lovi Poe, will be keeping herself busy with shows for GMA Pinoy TV abroad, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Quatar.

The teen actress also has just come back from Thailand, with her mom.

It is no secret that “newly” kapuso star Heart Evangelista wanted to do a koreanovela. GMA executives earlier disclosed that such a project is up for the actress, aside from having to appear in Sunday’s SOP, and Sineseries.

Heart also mentioned she wants to do a movie with Dyesebel and Marimar star Marian Rivera.

Marian Rivera is now ranked third on FHM’s sexy list, if she wouldnt be first. would she be turning down offers for a sexy cover shoot?

This, after Marian said in an interview with GMA news that she might pose for a men’s magazine if she ranks first. The Pinay Marimar is now busy shooting for Dyesebel, and is said to be excited for her upcoming commercial shoot in Australia for a brand of jeans.

Sexy covergirl Francine Prieto has been gaining weight, and this she attributes to stress. The actress, however, denies she is depressed. The stress is reportedly brought when two of Francine’s shows ended, leaving her only with Bubble Gang.

All is well now, though, cause Francine will again be busy with Codename: Asero, also from kapuso network GMA7.
