Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion’s first movie, “For the First Time”, raked PhP14 million in its opening day, and is being expected to earn more during the weekend.

At their premier party attended by celebrities, Richard said he wanted to do another movie with Star Cinema. Among those in attendance at the party are Philip Salvador, Ruffa Gutierrez, Candy Pangilinan, and TJ Trinidad.

Gabby Concepcion has no problems if “Dear Heart”, a movie he shared with ex-wife Sharon Cuneta, will have a remake. It is to be remembered that Sharon earlier said she’s not amenable to any “Dear Heart” remake unless it would be their daughter KC on the role.

Gabby, on the other hand, said he doesnt mind, even adding that Danny Zialcita could even direct the film (being the original director), as he might have other views about the movie.

KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez are in Greece for a week for the shoot of their movie, For the First Time, under Star Cinema. The two left last July 13. In an interview with PEP, Richard and KC said that the movie is a “story on how two imperfect people find the perfect love.”

The two also recently had a shoot for the movie’s music video.

KC Concepcion will be featured in MYX as its celebrity VJ of the month, and you could catch more of her from June 23 to 27, Monday to Friday.

KC is now busy promoting her very first album, aka Cassandra, with songs like Imposible, Umbrella, and Imagine. The singer-actress-endorser is also featured in the June-July issue of MYXMag.

Matinee Idol Gabby Concepcion is excited for the movie he will be shooting under GMA Films. Iza Calzado is said to be among  those being eyed to be Gabby’s leading lady. It will be remembered that Gabby’s camp’s decision to sign a contract with ABS-CBN caused a drift with the kauso film outfit, but now, things are being settled by both parties.

Gabby is the father of mega-daughter KC Concepcion.

Mega-daughter KC Concepcion signed a movie contract yesterday, May 22, for the 2009 Valentine film offering of GMA Films and Regal Entertainment.

The movie, with a working title When I Met You, will be directed by Jose Javier Reyes, and will team KC up again with Richard Gutierrez.

Mega-daughter KC Concepcion has finished recording her debut album, which would feature eleven songs, including ”Imagine” by John Lennon and ”Must Have Been Love” by Roxette.

The album would showcase the young talent, playing percussion. It is produced and will be released by Sony BMG.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is said to be really eager to have a movie with her eldest daughter KC Concepcion, who recently signed a three-picture contract with ABS-CBN kapamilya movie outfit Star Cinema.

The first KC movie will team her up with kapuso GMA7 main lead Richard Gutierrez, in a light romance film to be directed by Joyce Bernal.

KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez, both prized possessions of their respective mother networks kapamilya ABS-CBN and kapuso GMA7, are just friends. This, from KC’s mother, megastar Sharon Cuneta after reports about the two being partners on and off screen came about.

The two young showbiz royalties are about to do a movie together under Star Cinema.

Young matinee idol Richard Gutierrez and mega-daughter KC Concepcion will be doing a movie together, the first for Richard under Star Cinema, and the very first for KC. The movie, said to be a light romance, will start shooting this June, and will be directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal. Talks are there are five locations being considered, and among it is Greece which Direk Joyce prefers.

The team up was made possible after Richard Gutierrez signed a one-picture deal with Star Cinema. GMA Films is said to have made a deal to produce another film with KC come February next year. The Richard-KC movie is being expected to have its theater runs on August.
