KC Concepcion, National Ambassador of the Philippines against hunger, lead the 7,000 participants in the walk-a-thon held at Taguig City on Sunday.

“Merong mga budget siguro na maaaring hindi buong-buo napupunta sa dapat puntahan,” KC mentioned regarding the cause of hunger in our country.

The overflowing number of attendees, according to UN World Food Programme country director Stephen Anderson, showed that many people are willing and caring enough to help to the said cause.

The yearly event was our country’s version of UN World Food Programme’s “Walk the World: End Hunger” participated by 70 countries. It was started in Australia and will end in Samoa.

The event’s aim is to raise fund to help save the world from hunger.

KC Concepcion now belongs to the roster of Filipino fashion designers of today as she designed her own brand of clothes for Bayo, a clothing line that she endorses since 2006. Bayo launched its new style of clothes yesterday named, “YOU”. It is a collection of casual wear that the multi-hyphenated star personally designed by KC. Proceeds of these clothes will benefit the UN’s efforts to fight hunger in Mindanao as KC was the UN World Food Programme (WFP) National Ambassador Against Hunger. This will also provide nutritious meals to 75,000 children from 427 schools that the WFP supports in Sultan Kudarat and North Cotabato.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion were finally able to talk face to face after decades of being apart. According to reports, Gabby visited Sharon during the taping of the latter’s show. The two have a daughter, also an actress, KC Concepcion.

Mega daughter KC Concepcion seems to be smitten with her new onscreen partner, hunk actor Piolo Pascual. KC has nice words for Piolo, saying he is very “maalaga”, a “really good guy”, and “playful”.

The two are set to be partners in the Pinoy adaptation of the hit koreanovela, Lovers in Paris.

For Richard Gutierrez’ birthday, megadaughter KC Concepcion gave him a turtle. The turtle “gift” came complete with its own aquarium. As for the reason why a turtle was given instead of any other gifts, KC relates to Ruffa (reports say) that when they went to Palawan, Richard “went gaga over a pawikan”.

The two are doing a movie together, When I Met You, under GMA Films.

After the very successful mega-concert, actress/singer/host Sharon Cuneta shares her new project — a baby, which of course, she shares with husband Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.  The couple is praying for another baby this year, to add to their daughters Frankie and Miel, and KC.

Prior to the mega-concert, a private birthday party was held for the megastar, with no less than Noel Cabangon with them to sing love songs from the 70s.

Mega-daughter KC Concepcion was apparently caught by surprised with biological father, Gabby Concepcion’s “birthday greeting” which was shown during her mom, Sharon Cuneta’s mega-concert at the Araneta.

Gabby Concepcion appeared on screen after the actress’ friend, Christopher de Leon. Sharon’s husband, Senator Francis Pangilinan, is among the audience.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta celebrates her birthday, and her 30th year in showbizness, via a mega-concert. The Mega Concert is being held tonight and will feature “songs from the heart”, to be performed by no less than the country’s best artists including Arnel Pineda, Piolo Pascual, Vina Morales, and mega-daughter KC Concepcion.

The taping for the new TV soap of Piolo Pascual and KC concepcion will be started next year. Not just that Piolo and KC is set to do also a movie together.

Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion’s first movie, “For the First Time”, raked PhP14 million in its opening day, and is being expected to earn more during the weekend.

At their premier party attended by celebrities, Richard said he wanted to do another movie with Star Cinema. Among those in attendance at the party are Philip Salvador, Ruffa Gutierrez, Candy Pangilinan, and TJ Trinidad.

Gabby Concepcion has no problems if “Dear Heart”, a movie he shared with ex-wife Sharon Cuneta, will have a remake. It is to be remembered that Sharon earlier said she’s not amenable to any “Dear Heart” remake unless it would be their daughter KC on the role.

Gabby, on the other hand, said he doesnt mind, even adding that Danny Zialcita could even direct the film (being the original director), as he might have other views about the movie.
