Teen superstar Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson will soon be featured in “Your Song Presents: My Only Hope”, only in kapamilya network ABS-CBN. The show is said to be part of the teen stars image reinvention. It will also feature the other casts of their hit Pinoy version of the koreanovela, My Girl, like Nina Jose and Enchong Dee.

PBB Teen Edition Plus housemate Nicole is set to play “the real Hannah” in the pinoy adaptation of the koreanovela “My Girl” where PBB Teen Edition winner Kim Chiu plays lead Jasmine. Nicole will be playing the real cousin of Julian, played by Gerald Anderson.

Gerald Anderson is getting better after being rushed to San Juan de DIos Hospital for a recurring fever. The young actor now is said to be taking things easy, adding that onscreen partner Kim Chiu is a big help as he recovers.

The two stars in the PInoy adaptation of the koreanovela My Girl, with Kim playing lead Jasmine, and Gerald, opposite Jasmine as Julian. Catch it on ABS-CBN primetime after Lobo.

Gerald Anderson gave Kim Chiu a pink car as a gift. This, the young actor revealed when the two guested in ABS-CBN’s The Buzz, for the promotion of their hit pinoy version of the Korean series, My Girl.

Gerald also said that Kim is the first that gets in his mind when he wakes up, given the limited sleep the two teen actors have with their busy schedule. Gerald and Kim are both from the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition House.

Tonight is the premier of the newest ABS-CBN kapamilya show, My Girl, starring former PBB teens Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu. The Kim-Gerald program is the Pinoy adaptation of the hit koreanovela with the same title.

The Pinoy My Girl’s pilot episode will air after another kapamilya hit, Lobo, starring Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin.

TV host Paolo Bediones, through his lawyer, has already promised to return the P200,000 investment of  comedienne/singer Kay Brosas which the latter hopes will be soon.  Kay reportedly was lured by Paolo to invest in his business which eventually went bankrupt due unscrupulous co-investors.  Incidentally, Kay’s contract with GMA 7 recently elapsed and was not renewed. Kay is now with ABS-CBN and has started shooting “My Girl”, a TV fare starring Kim Chiu.

It’s official! ABS-CBN Kapamilya network yesterday announced Bea Alonso as the Pinoy Betty La Fea. This came after controversies with Regine Velasquez resigning from GMA7’s SOP, wanting to get the role. Other actresses who were rumored to be considered as Betty are Anne Curtis (who did Kampanerang Kuba) and Kim Chui, who will be doing the Pinoy version of the koreanovela My Girl.

Betty La Fea, or “Yo soy Betty, la fea” is a telenovela from Colombia, produced by RCN network. A number of versions have already been produced in different countries, most recent of which is US’ Ugly Betty.
