Loren Legarda stated her views against deceptive practices of credit card companies ncluding the collection of exorbitant or unreasonable punitive interest rates and unjustifiable fees from credit card holders.She imposed the creation of a Credit Cardholders’ Bill of Rights in the U.S.,that brings more transparency to the contractual relationship and empower consumers to manage their own credit.She believes that this would provide better protection to credit card holders
and clamp down predatory lending.

PDEA Chair Dionisio R. Santiago conducted opening of PDEA’s on-line licensing system that will reduce the waiting period for medical and paramedical practitioners who renew their licenses on dangerous drugs prescriptions.Santiago said that it was made possible through the President’s Anti-graft fund worth P1 Billion Pesos.These procedure will require to provide user-name, preferred log-in name and password to register.
