Zanjoe Marudo replaced Piolo Pascual in the upcoming movie of Eugene Domingo, Kimmy Dora. According to some showbiz source, Piolo Pascual was set to play a villain to his arch rival Dingdong Dantes but eventually, he was dissuaded by his manager, Johnny Manahan. Mr. M. discouraged him to play the role since he is a Star Magic artist and has to protect his image as a matinée idol and not a bad boy hottie.

Mega daughter KC Concepcion seems to be smitten with her new onscreen partner, hunk actor Piolo Pascual. KC has nice words for Piolo, saying he is very “maalaga”, a “really good guy”, and “playful”.

The two are set to be partners in the Pinoy adaptation of the hit koreanovela, Lovers in Paris.

Dr. Manny Calayan finally speaks out about the seemingly offensive comment made by Dr. Vicky Belo regarding one of the Calayan endorsers, Boy Abunda.

According to Dr. Manny Calayan, Dra. Belo should have chosen an endorser of Calayan the same age [level] as Dingdong Dantes and Piolo Pascual — that is, Jon Avila and Jake Cuenca. Dr. Calayan also said that the credibility of the endorsers are also important.

ASAP Live and Sunday Night Productions present POP Icons: The Concert, featuring Pop Icons — the Ultimate Hearthrob Pascual, Rockoustic Hearthrob Milby, Asian Pop Idol Christian Bautista, Prince of Pop Erik Santos and Pop Hearththrob Mark Bautista.

The show, which will be directed by Rowell Santiago will have a series of concerts, first of which will be held in Dagupan on February 13t, then in Cebu on February 14. On the 21st, they will perform at the Big Dome, and then in Bacolod on the 28th.

Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano are still together, and this is according to Luis’ dad, actor-tv host, Edu Manzano.

News about their split up broke after Angel cried in ASAP (promotional guesting). Edu, however, was quick to dismiss the rumors saying he still sees the two together and that he likes what he sees.

Angel is currently promoting her movie with Piolo Pascual, Love Me Again (Land Down Under) under Star Cinema.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta celebrates her birthday, and her 30th year in showbizness, via a mega-concert. The Mega Concert is being held tonight and will feature “songs from the heart”, to be performed by no less than the country’s best artists including Arnel Pineda, Piolo Pascual, Vina Morales, and mega-daughter KC Concepcion.

The actor who will be playing Armado in ABS-CBN’s new soap, I Love Betty La Fea, will finally be revealed tomorrow, August 17, on The Buzz. Will it be Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Jake Cuenca, or a showbiz new-comer? Everybody is in much anticipation for Armando, including the set of his EcoModa office in the series.

Armando is the love interest of Betty La Fea, who will be played by Bea Alonzo.

The finale is nearing for Lyka and Noah, as ABS-CBN kapamilya’s primetime teleserye, Lobo, takes its final week this coming July 7 to 11 (Monday to friday), after Cesar Montano’s Singing Bee.

Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual thanks all their fans for the support and for watching the series. They are to appear again in a movie to be produced by Star Cinema.

Anne Curtis is a goddess in the upcoming ABS-CBN kapamilya show Dyosa, a fantaserye scheduled to replace the hit Lobo starring Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual.

Anne will be playing the goddess of water, land, and sky. The beautiful actress also gets to play her dream role of a mermaid, aside from her other goddess transformations as a centaur (half-horse, half-human) and a half-human-half-bird creature.

Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual have withdrawn the Libel Case against Talk Show host / showbiz writer Lolit Solis after Ms. Solis signed her statement of retraction – “There is no factual basis for my article which came out on October 12, 2007″. I Am Sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I caused.  They also agreed after this they won’t be talking about the incident again.
