Nikki Valdez reprises her showbiz career as she will took part in the upcoming Star Cinema movie, In My Life. She will play the role of Rafael Rosell’s wife who will help Vilma in the film. She also admits that she really misses show business and hopes for some more projects to come while she’s in the country to promote the movie. Nikki also denied rumors that she and her husband Chris Lina end up their relationship because it was her decision to come back for a while after staying in Canada for years. Star Cinema unveils its Metro Manila Film Festival official entry, ” I Love You Goodbye ” starring Angelica Panganiban and Gabby Concepcion. Other cast includes Angel’s real life boyfriend Derek Ramsey and Kim Chiu who will play Gabby’s daughter. ” I Love You Goodbye ” was directed by Laurice Guillen and premieres January 1, 2010. It is a story of a teacher who went to New York to try her luck abroad. She also wants to be with his son, Mark( played by Luis ). Eventually, she will meet Mark ( John Lloyd ) who happens to be Mark’s boyfriend. As the story goes, Noel will be diagnosed with cancer that he will hide from his mother. In my own opinion, as i have personally watched the trailer, it has a lot of lessons in life that all of us should learn. Coney Reyes is back to the silver screen after so many years of focusing on her Television shows before. Her last movie was in 1994 with Vic Sotto in Star Cinema. This time, she will be playing as Derek Ramsey and Nikki Gil’s mother in “And I Love You So”. Coney also revealed that she was really impressed with Bea’s acting performance as she was watching her before in Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay. Their movie is about to be seen in theaters this coming August 12, directed by Lauren Dyogi under Star Cinema.

Star Cinema’s T2 was a great success because of its total grossed of P28M in just two days of its showing in cinemas nationwide.Maricel Soriano was very happy for the success of her movie comeback.There will be also international screenings of this movie.

Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is currently working on a horror film, T2, directed by Chito Rono. The film is under Star Cinema. The Diamond Star recently had a contract signing with ABS-CBN’s film outfit, Star Cinema, last Thursday.

KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez are in Greece for a week for the shoot of their movie, For the First Time, under Star Cinema. The two left last July 13. In an interview with PEP, Richard and KC said that the movie is a “story on how two imperfect people find the perfect love.”

The two also recently had a shoot for the movie’s music video.

The finale is nearing for Lyka and Noah, as ABS-CBN kapamilya’s primetime teleserye, Lobo, takes its final week this coming July 7 to 11 (Monday to friday), after Cesar Montano’s Singing Bee.

ABS-CBN kapamilya prime actor John Lloyd Cruz and the country’s pop princess Sarah Geronimo is the newest love team, under Star Cinema’s new movie, All About Love. The two first teamed up in a hit special episode in Maala-ala Mo kaya.

John Lloyd also will be celebrating his 25th birthday tomorrow, June 24.

KC Concepcion is Richard Gutierrez’ long time crush.

This was revealed by no less than Richard’s twin brother, Raymond, in an interview conducted by PEP. The infatuation is said to have struck Richard since highschool, when KC and Richard was introduced in a soiree by a common friend.

KC and Richard are set to do two films together, the first one with Star Cinema, and the other with GMA Films.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is said to be really eager to have a movie with her eldest daughter KC Concepcion, who recently signed a three-picture contract with ABS-CBN kapamilya movie outfit Star Cinema.

The first KC movie will team her up with kapuso GMA7 main lead Richard Gutierrez, in a light romance film to be directed by Joyce Bernal.

KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez, both prized possessions of their respective mother networks kapamilya ABS-CBN and kapuso GMA7, are just friends. This, from KC’s mother, megastar Sharon Cuneta after reports about the two being partners on and off screen came about.

The two young showbiz royalties are about to do a movie together under Star Cinema.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta recalls that she and the staff of Star Cinema could not afford to eat at restaurants in London when they were shooting “Caregiver”.  “We would always buy “take-out” foods because restaurants in London are very expensive,” according to Shawie. The movie, directed by Chito Roño, will be shown in celebration of Sharon’s 30 years in showbusiness and as Star Cinema’s 15th anniversary offering.

Young matinee idol Richard Gutierrez and mega-daughter KC Concepcion will be doing a movie together, the first for Richard under Star Cinema, and the very first for KC. The movie, said to be a light romance, will start shooting this June, and will be directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal. Talks are there are five locations being considered, and among it is Greece which Direk Joyce prefers.

The team up was made possible after Richard Gutierrez signed a one-picture deal with Star Cinema. GMA Films is said to have made a deal to produce another film with KC come February next year. The Richard-KC movie is being expected to have its theater runs on August.
