On its 16th year anniversary of Star Cinema, ABS-CBN has already launched ” In My Life ” movie trailer. It stars John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano and the Star for all Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos. It is a story of a teacher who went to New York to try her luck abroad. She also wants to be with his son, Mark( played by Luis ). Eventually, she will meet Mark ( John Lloyd ) who happens to be Mark’s boyfriend. As the story goes, Noel will be diagnosed with cancer that he will hide from his mother. In my own opinion, as i have personally watched the trailer, it has a lot of lessons in life that all of us should learn. Get to see more of this movie, ” In My Life ” directed by Olivia Lamasan, premieres September 16, 2009 under Star Cinema.

Star Cinema is about to release a filmbio for the late President Corazon Aquino and there were reports that Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto will be portraying the lead role of President Cory. According to Columnist Ricky Lo, Kris Aquino told him the said project during their phone conversation last Saturday. No timetable has been set yet when it will start shooting, or who the director and other members of the cast will be , but it won’t definitely be shown maybe until after one year because Vilma is running for reelection and she has to follow the COMELEC’s guidelines regarding her appearances in TV Programs and movies during the campaign period.

Star for all Seasons recently commended on Claudine’s acting skills that she said she could be her successor in the future. But according to Claudine, as she was interviewed last July 26 at the Manila Ocean Park by SNN, she said that she was grateful and honored enough that Ms. Vilma praised her acting skills but as a Vilmanian herself, there can never be another Vilma Santos. But Claudine promised that she will be the best Claudine that she can be and not as a Vilma’s replacement for her title. Meanwhile, Claudine will be doing a teleserye with her sister Gretchen Barretto as soon as she came back from a vacation in U.S. She alsochoose not to reveal any details yet of the said project.

Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos will be doing a month long documentary special after the MMK timeslot this coming August. This special is also a forrunner to her up-coming Movie, All My Life with her son Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz this coming September directed by Olive Lamasan under Star Cinema.

Gov.Vilma Santos is now back in showbiz for her upcoming documentary special this August. Dubbed as “Vilma: A Woman Of All Seasons”, it will feature a 30- minute documentary that will be aired in 5 Saturdays. She was very happy that her showbiz comeback was approved by her constituents after being busy for a while being the Governor of Batangas. She also had an upcoming movie with her son Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz under Star Cinema entitled, In My Life.

If reports are true, it’s gonna be a battle between Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan for the Vice Presidency race in the upcoming 2010 elections. Showbiz-wise, it’s gonna be the star-for all seasons versus the megastar.

Governor Vilma Santos is not at all worried with the rumored fight between son Luis Manzano and his girlfriend Angel Locsin. In fact, she said that fights, as long as they are not physical, gives spice to any relationship.

Vilma Santos has a movie with her son Luis, and John Lloyd Cruz, which will be shown on September.

Real-life sweethearts Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano spent the holidays in Macau and then headed off to Hongkong via a ferry boat. Angel reportedly spent the season with Luis’ family, including Governor Vilma Santos.

Luis also gave her a camera for Christmas.

Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos will be having a movie comeback via ABS-CBN’s fim outfit Star Cinema.  Governor Vi is expected to do a movie first with John Lloyd Cruz, who had just graced the big screen via A Very Special Love. Ate Vi also is said to be doing a movie with son Luis Manzano, and megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Batangas Governor Vilma Santos wishes to go back to acting, atleast to even do one movie, for the year. Reports say that a Judy Anne – Vilma Santos movie tandem is in the can, making the Star for all Seasons all the more excited. The actress says she is looking forward into doing the movie, and she wanted it beautifully done.

Governor Vi also led a bikathon in Batangas, their call to rehabilitate Taal Lake, saying she is serious in protecting the said water body.
